Angling at Middle South Woodburn
This is a very popular water with good catches regularly taken. It is in a forest area with good fly hatches and provides car parking facilites for anglers with disabilities.

Water levels at Middle South Woodburn have been lowered and this fishery must remain closed for health and safety reasons.
Disabled Facilities
There is a level tarmac road from the car park to the dam. There is a grass path along the dam wall but ease of fishing will depend on water levels.
Parking is some distance from the Reservoir. Anglers must use the official entrances and on no account tresspass on adjoining lands or park their cars in such a way as to obstruct roadways or gate entrances.
Keys for car park
Keys are available to anglers in receipt of a Concessionary Disabled Licence and Permit. The gates are quite heavy and those with moderate to severe physical disability may require help.

Take the B58 at Carrickfergus towards Ballynure. About 1.6km (at Brown Cow Inn Sign) take a left for 0.4 km to cross the B90 at Woodburn village. Travel on over the humpback bridge to the car park beside the Woodburn church.
