Family fun day

A family fun day will take place on Monday 27 May in the Stormont Estate, Belfast. Gates are open from 10.00am until 6.00pm. This year’s event, in support of BBC Children in Need, has activities for children of all ages.

Great fun

Most activities are free or require a small donation:

Activities include:

• Punch and Judy and magic shows
• fun quiz tours of the Assembly
• trampolines and slides
• bouncy castles
• treasure trails
• motorcycle displays
• laser games
• story telling
• science demonstrations
• a range of sporting activities in the Playball Sport Zone
• dog competitions, including sheepdog trials

Other attractions are an old school-style sports day, an Olympic challenge,  a food zone, environmental exhibitions and displays. The Hugo Duncan Show will broadcast live from 1.30pm - 3.00pm.

Directions

Use Stoney Road vehicle entrance to the Stormont Estate. A shuttle bus will run to Carson’s Statue. All car parking donations within the Stormont Estate will be given to BBC Children in Need.
