Marieanne O'Shea

Marieanne O’Shea clinched the prestigious title of 'Northern Ireland Essential Skills Learner of the Year for 2011'. In addition to being named overall winner, Marieanne received the County Down Essential Skills Learner Award and was also highly commended in the Essential Skills ICT category.

Robert Thornton

Robert Thornton was presented with the Northern Ireland Trade Union Essential Skills Learner of the Year 2011 award at a glittering ceremony in Hillsborough Castle.  He also received a highly commended certificate in the County Fermanagh category.

Gloria Feenan O'Neill

Gloria Feenan O’Neill was presented with the ICT Essential Skills Learner of the Year 2011 award at the Essential Skills Awards ceremony held in Hillsborough Castle. Gloria was also highly commended in the County Down category.

Mark Roberts

Mark Roberts was presented with the County Antrim Essential Skills Learner of the Year 2011 award at a glittering ceremony held at Hillsborough Castle.
