Scams relating to nidirect

Information to alert users about scams originating from sources claiming to represent nidirect.

Current scams

nidirect is urging people to be alert to a potential telephone scam currently operating.

The scam involves being cold called about pensions by someone claiming to be from government services and information website nidirect.gov.uk.

The call is bogus. If you receive this call you are advised to hang up immediately.

nidirect officials have alerted the Trading Standards Service to the scam and are asking everyone to be vigilant.
