The Management and Leadership Development Programme is simple and effective. The Department for Employment and Learning has brought together a comprehensive portfolio of training options to help employers meet the specific development needs of their managers and leaders at all levels.
The Department for Employment and Learning bursary support is available to organisations participating on the MLDP programme (depending on the size of the organisation, the Department will pay up to 50% on maximum costs of £3,000). From 2 March 2009, for a limited period, the Department will pay 100% on maximum costs of £3,000, in line with a recent announcement from Sir Reg Empey, MLA, Minister for Employment and Learning.
