C'Mon Over - Do you have a couple of year's experience?

Northern Ireland is no different to the rest of the UK and is facing challenging times in the current downturn. Recruitment and expansion has slowed down somewhat compared to the growth we saw this time last year. We have experienced a slight increase in unemployment in recent months however we are still below the UK average of 6.7%. In the current economic climate there is a real need for us to focus on the months ahead and to make preparations for the upturn in the economy and therefore we will need to ensure that we still have highly skilled people able to fill positions in the workforce.

Attracting suitably skilled people to Northern Ireland has been the focus of 'C'Mon Over' in the last 12 months and recruitment agencies were actively targeting people from outside the region, expecially ex-pats, who have the senior management skills to take up employment in new and established businesses here. If you are interested in living and working in NI, if you have the experience and are ready to take that step to either move home or change direction then it may be worth considering. We aren't promising an abundance of job opportunities in the current climate but there are many agencies where you can register your interest should it be something you would consider in the future when things start to improve.
