Compensation claims

If you are involved in an accident and believe that Roads Service is responsible, you can download and complete the relevant claim form and submit it to Roads Service Claims Unit (RSCU). It will investigate your claim and determine whether you are entitled to receive compensation.

Claims forms

There are three different types of claim forms:

  • personal injury
  • property damage - for example, damage to your house, lands or possessions
  • vehicle damage, specifically for claims for damage to motor vehicles

How to use this service

Each form includes guidance notes to help you complete it. You can download the form you need below:

Where to send completed forms

Please sign and return the completed claim form to RSCU. The main RSCU office is in Clarence Court, Belfast and all claims may be returned to this office. The North West office is based in Orchard House in Londonderry and you may send forms to this office if your claim arises from an incident that happened in the North West.

If you have any queries about completing or returning the claim form, you may find the information you want in our How to claim compensation from Roads Service page.

If you want to make a complaint about any aspect of how your compensation claim is being handled, or was handled, there is information on the page below:
