If you are learning to drive and are due to do your practical driving test, you can book online. The Driver & Vehicle Agency's (DVA) online booking service is quick and easy to use.

Booking online

You can book your Northern Ireland practical motorcar, motorcycle or moped driving test online. You will need:

• a valid credit or debit card
• your driving licence number which is on your driving licence
• your date of birth

Unfortunately if you have any special requirements or disabilities you cannot use the online service to book. You may book by telephone on 0845 247 2472 from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday and 9.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday. Alternatively, you can call into your local test centre.

Practical driving test telephone booking line - 0845 247 2472 - you may book between 8.00am to 7.00pm from Monday to Friday and from 9.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday.

Manage your driving test booking online

You can manage your driving test appointment online provided you give three clear working days notice.

You can:

• check your test appointment details
• change if your circumstances change
• cancel your test
