Claim child benefit online

You can fill in a Child Benefit claim form on screen and print it out, report a change in circumstances, check when your next Child Benefit payment is due or send an online query to the Child Benefit Office.

Before you start

Before you start, it's a good idea to get the following information to hand:

• your National Insurance number
• your Child Benefit reference number (if you have one)
• your child's birth certificate
• your bank or building society account details
