Find your local sports facility

The Active Places NI database includes information on a wide range of sports facilities.

You can search for sports halls, tennis courts, swimming pools and much more. It includes district council leisure facilities as well as club and commercial sites.

How to use this service

Insert your postcode or use the active map to find a facility near you. Access to the facilities falls into three categories:

• pay and play – where you can simply turn up and pay a fee to use a facility.
• registered membership – where you need to pay a registration fee to use a facility, for example, gym membership
• sports club or community association – where your use of a facility is dependant on being a member of a particular sports club or association
