Appointment of five non executive directors to the board of Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC)

The Department of Regional Development (DRD) is seeking to appoint five non executive directors to the Board of Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC).

NITHC oversees the provision of public transport in Northern Ireland.

  • remuneration: £12,205 per annum
  • period of appointment: four years commencing 2 January 2016
  • time commitment: up to five days per month
  • regulated by CPA NI: yes

Appointment of a registrant member to the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) is seeking to appoint a registrant member.

Candidates must be on the HCPC Register and wholly or mainly engaged in the practice, the teaching or management of, or research in, one of the professions regulated by the HCPC.

  • remuneration: £320 per day plus expenses
  • period of appointment: two, three or four years (depending) commencing on 1 January 2016
  • time commitment: 20 - 25 days per year
  • regulated by CPA NI: no

Appointment of Chair of Governing Body of Belfast Metropolitan College

The Department for Employment and Learning is seeking to appoint a Chairperson for the Governing Body of Belfast Metropolitan College.

Belfast Metropolitan College delivers a wide range of full-time and part-time courses in line with its mission to provide outstanding education and skills that will transform lives and contribute to the economic success of Belfast and Northern Ireland.

  • remuneration: the post is not remunerated however, it is anticipated that remuneration will become available shortly after appointment

The Department of Education (DE) invites applications for school governor positions.

The role of the Board of Governors is to manage the school with a view to providing the best possible education and educational opportunities for all of the pupils.
